As part of its push to expand in the growing data center space, Esri acquired Profiline-Tech for an undisclosed sum. Profiline-Tech specializes in data center digital twin software.
Sources at Esri noted that the data center space has become a strategic area for Esri, and complementing its growing offering with digital twin tech was critical.
These sources did not disclose how the solution will be integrated at this time.
With its recent purchase of ClearTerra Technology and other acquisitions since 2015, Esri seems to aggressively expand its offerings and services using M&A activity.
